GravitySeries events are organized under the Sportmotion regulations.

The regulations are carefully designed to make it possible to host smaller events while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Bike

Participants’ bikes must be of the MTB type and in proper working condition. Whether you choose a hardtail (HT) with only front suspension or a full suspension (FS) bike is entirely up to you.

The race course is of a nature where a full suspension bike is recommended.

When it comes to pedals, it’s entirely your choice — flat pedals or clipless (where the shoes are attached to the pedals) both have their pros and cons.

Helmet

An approved full-face helmet must be worn properly during both training and racing on the course.
The helmet must be equipped with a visor.
Other types of helmets are not permitted.

Body Protection

During both training and racing, riders must wear approved back and knee protection and should use elbow protection and goggles.
Additionally, full-length pants or wide shorts made of tear-resistant material, a long-sleeved jersey, and full-finger gloves must be worn.
Other types of pants are NOT permitted during any part of the competition or training.

Number Plate

A number plate issued by the organizer must be attached to the bike at all times when the rider is on the race course.
The plate may not be modified and must be clearly visible on the handlebar using the provided zip ties.

Camera

Riders are allowed to use cameras throughout the competition.
The only approved mounting location is ON or UNDER the visor.

NO OTHER MOUNTING LOCATIONS ARE PERMITTED.

The full regulations can be downloaded from the Swedish Cycling Federation (SCF) website.

The lift is open during the following hours:

All days: 10:00–16:00
For track walk: Sunday 09:00–10:00

15% discount on 2-day lift passes when purchased at the reception by the cable car.

Participants are expected to have read and understood the SCF Competition Regulations parts 1, 4, 12, and 17.

The jury reserves the right to issue penalties for violations not explicitly stated in the regulations, if they go against environmental responsibility, the organizer’s instructions, or constitute unsportsmanlike conduct.

Any protests must be submitted to the Caroline Åhman at the secretariat.
